We are currently recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Estimating and Planning Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent contract. This position offers a salary of £30,000 and working office hours of 8.30-5pm some flexibility available. As Estimating and Planning Engineer you will support the delivery of company's sales plan to set quality, delivery and cost performance criteria, deliver KPl's and support their improvement to achieve repeatability and profitability of product supplied. Estimating and Planning Engineer main duties: * Support delivery of company sales strategy. * Maintain, develop and encourage regular contact with established & prospective customers. * Consult with customers to secure orders. * Work closely with the Business development & Marketing department. * Input customer feedback into CRM or similar. * Support project management of contracts working alongside the production departments. * Prepare and submit quotations byway of timely and accurate estimates * Liaise with subcontractors to obtain external pricing and lead-times. * Creation of purchase orders for external work. ...
