Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced care co-ordinator to work in this family-run care and support at home company.
Duties:
* You will manage the workloads of care delivery staff on a day-to-day basis
* You will have an excellent career record in the care sector, will be a confident user of IT, and will have the ability to effectively prioritise competing tasks.
* You will also be liaising closely with the Registered Manager in planning and organising supervisions and shadowing alongside arranging care reviews and risk assessments for Service Users.
* You will manage absence and be responsible for the line management of home care workers reporting to the Registered Manager.
Requirements:
* The role also involves liaising with Service Users and other professionals and participating in the out-of-hours on-call service, therefore you must be a driver with access to your own transport to be considered for this role.
* Applicants should ideally have a good understanding of the Care at Home sector and suitable experience within this sector, with skills in rostering, IT, administration, and customer service.
* The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator and a methodical worker able to ensure tasks are fully completed in a pressurised environment.
* The successful applicant will work well as part of a team and be able to work on their own initiative.
* Applicants must be flexible as the role will involve on-call duties outside of working hours.
* Applicant must be happy to travel between our head office in Broxburn and our Coatbridge office.
Office Hours: Monday - Friday 08:45 – 17:30 with participation in the Out of Hours rota.
