Your primary responsibility will be to produce accurate and timely management accounts. You will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and providing ad hoc analysis for finance and cross-functional reporting. Month-end duties will form a significant part of your role and you will also handle VAT and assist with cash flow management ensuring all financial aspects run smoothly. Production of Management Accounts Budgeting/forecasting and assisting with Adhoc analysis for finance and cross-functional reporting Performing month-end duties, including some reporting & analysis Analysis & reconciliation of Account Receivable activity Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations Handling VAT returns Preparation of Payroll & updating personnel files Assisting with cash flow management What you bring: The ideal Management Accountant candidate brings a wealth of experience from working within an SME environment. They will possess great attention to detail which is crucial in maintaining accuracy in this role. A minimum requirement is an AAT qualification, coupled with experience within a manufacturing or retail business. Familiarity with MS Navision would be highly beneficial. Balance sheet experience is essential as it forms a significant part of the role.
