At Johnsons Cars, we are a team-oriented workplace that values our employees and offers a host of benefits. We are looking for a General Manager / Brand Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis at our Skoda dealership in Birmingham.
As a General Manager, you will be an integral member of the team. You will approach situations with an enthusiastic and positive manner to ensure the dealership, your colleagues and our customers all benefit. You will be highly customer-focused and experienced within the Sales and Aftersales departments, taking responsibility for the daily operations within the business and delivering a proven track record in outstanding balanced scorecard and financial performance, along with previous experience working within a franchised dealer.
Responsibilities
* Maintain site standards to meet company and franchise requirements
* Day to day management of the site
* Ensure the site has the correct and well managed new and used car stock
* Undertake monthly management reviews with your team
* Work with the Divisional Accounts function to submit accurate flash forecasts
* Lead your team to meet and exceed budgeted performance
* Maintain a supportive relationship with dealership departments and advise, implementing and maintaining robust processes within departments in order to meet dealership targets
The Ideal Candidate Will
* Have a proven track record in an Automotive Management role
* Have previous experience working in a main dealer environment
* Have experience with financial management, budgeting, and be able to understand the dealership accounts
* Have the ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies including understanding market trends, competition, and identifying opportunities for growth
