Role Overview:
Shift Pattern: 5 days on, 2 days off, Nights, Weekends included. As a Train Cleaner, you will maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of trains, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passengers and staff.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a tidy environment inside the train.
* Inspect and report any damages, graffiti, or vandalism to the appropriate authorities for prompt resolution.
* Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring that all necessary materials are on hand to perform daily tasks.
* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
* Follow procedures for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals and materials.
The Ideal Candidate Should Meet The Following Criteria:
* Right to work in the UK.
* Previous experience in cleaning would be advantageous.
* Strong communication skills.
* Willingness to work night and weekend shifts.
Additional Information:
* Medical and drug and alcohol test prior to starting.
* Depôt Track Safety (DTS) training course required.
* Free travel to and from work will be provided on SWR trains.
