Our Welsh Education Partnership (WEPCo) asset is committed to delivering up to 30 new education facilities, primarily schools and colleges, across Wales. These projects are funded through the Mutual Investment Model (MIM), a financing approach developed by the Welsh Government for major capital investments. We are now looking for a dedicated Social Value Executive to join our team. The Role As a Social Value Executive, you will play a pivotal role in leading & managing the delivery, monitoring, and reporting of Community Benefits across all WEPCo projects, overseeing compliance, and driving the development and publication of WEPCo’s Annual Impact Report, showcasing ESG achievements. You will provide operational support throughout various project stages, gathering and consolidating Community Benefits data from contractors and service providers, and providing strategic advice to project teams. Your work will be essential in ensuring WEPCo fulfils its Social Value commitments in line with the Strategic Partnering Agreement (SPA) with the Welsh Government. Additionally, approximately 30% of your role will involve providing essential executive administrative support to the CEO and wider WEPCo team, such as managing the CEO’s diary, coordinating travel, preparing Board Reports, and ensuring the smooth running of WEPCo’s office, operations helping to streamline operations, maintain an efficient office environment, and contribute to the overall success of the business. About you You will be a proactive and highly organised professional with a strong commitment to delivering impactful community benefits. Working to a strong values framework, fostering a collaborative work environment will be important to you as you will be successfully engaging with multiple stakeholders of various seniority, including the Welsh Government & Project Teams, so excellent interpersonal skills are essential. An analytical mindset is crucial, as you will be responsible for tracking Social Value metrics, interpreting data, and generating insightful reports that demonstrate impact. Adaptability is key in this role, as you will navigate a fast-paced and evolving environment, responding proactively to challenges and opportunities. You will have experience working with the Welsh Government, or within a ESG or social value focused role. A degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Public Policy, Social Value, or Sustainability is preferred, and additional certifications in ESG, Community Benefits, or project management would be highly beneficial. You will have experience within an administrative role and providing Executive support at Board level. Why work for FIM?
