Deputy Home Manager – Whitstable
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Location: Whitstable, Kent
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, medium-sized residential care home in Whitstable, known for its welcoming atmosphere and Good CQC rating. This home provides a supportive environment for both residents and staff, with a strong focus on person-centred care.
We’re seeking a dedicated and proactive Deputy Home Manager to support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in elderly care who is passionate about high-quality service delivery and team leadership.
Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing staff rotas, recruitment, training and performance management

Supporting the Home Manager with compliance, audits and quality standards
*
Leading by example to ensure the wellbeing and dignity of all residents
*
Assisting with occupancy growth and cost-effective care delivery
About you:
*
Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), with willingness to work towards Level 4/5
*
Experience in a supervisory or management role within a care home setting
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills
*
A team player with a hands-on approach and commitment to best practices
