Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Secondary School in Tenterden. This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting students’ learning, wellbeing, and personal development in a secondary school environment.
You will work closely with teaching staff to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students in the classroom, both individually and in small groups
* Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
* Provide additional support to students with SEN or other learning needs
* Help manage behaviour and encourage student engagement
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people (preferred)
* Patient, proactive, and positive attitude
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
