Summary
* You will have experience with designing projects from conception through to completion (including calculations, drawings, specifications)
* Assist with developing Building Services and be part of the Building Services discipline group
* Help shape and grow the technical development of the group
* Manage existing clients and develop further opportunities
* Look to grow the Company on the back of new and repeat clients
* Accountable for deliverables in line with financial targets and client deadlines.
* Make yourself available to the office and clients outside of hours, when required
* Report back to the Associate with workload updates, morale, and suggestions for improvements
* Help develop Company Standards for both drawings and specifications
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Educated to degree or HND level or equivalent
* Chartered Engineer or progressing towards
* Outgoing and personable
Design / Engineering
* Concept design

* Prepare stage reports / outline designs, feasibility

* Maintain comprehensive design file
* Produce scheme design drawings for CAD

Project Management
Client Management
* Client management
* Assist the lead engineer on communications with Clients.
* Interpreting project requirements
* Promote 'can do' attitude.
* Interpret Project Requirements (Layout and Specification) into a RIBA stage 2, 3, 4 & 5 Mechanical / Electrical Design Packages.
* Supporting the administration of projects, including maintaining records and filing.
Design Team Management
* Communicating with design team members
* Convene technical domestic meetings with team
* Assist Senior Mechanical / Electrical Engineers with designs and calculations
* Provide assistance to the team. Allocate Project Design Tasks to Junior Mechanical / Electrical Engineers, Oversee Progression and Provide Feedback

* Assist with briefing Sub-Contractors
* Monitor and report progress
* Assist problem solving process
* Respond to RFIs, queries quickly
