Job Title: Battery Test Engineer
Location: Bedford
Salary: Up to £53,525 depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week (Days)

As a Battery Test Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in our cutting-edge Battery department, conducting various tests to ensure performance, safety, and durability of batteries. You'll work within a dynamic team, contributing to the development of processes and facilities while adhering to international standards and customer specifications. Responsibilities:
Liaise with customers to understand testing requirements and ensure tests are executed, documented, and reported accurately and timely.
Establish test content and prepare internal test execution documentation.
Adhere to Health and Safety and quality procedures, including development of Risk Assessments.
Analyze test results and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Work in accordance with ISO 17025 and behavioural standards.
Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in technical/electrical disciplines.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in lab or workshop environments.
Experience with electric vehicles, HV systems, and CAN desirable.
Familiarity with international standards and quality assurance beneficial.
Skills:
Practical understanding of electrical principles and battery fundamentals.
Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and presentation.
Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to convey work instructions and outcomes effectively.
