Role We have an opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in Stratford. The primary responsibility of this role is to report to the Head of Health & Safety, you will be responsible for continuously reviewing and updating risk assessments, safe operating procedures, and safety statements, as well as screening project sites for potential risks before work commences. Regular inspections of active project sites ensure ongoing compliance with safety protocols, and you will liaise with external parties such as government inspectors to evaluate processes. You will identify areas of risk and develop measures to mitigate them, collaborating with senior management to create emergency procedures and promptly reporting any incidents. Maintaining thorough safety-related documentation and conducting employee training sessions on safe work practices are key components of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will manage relationships with clients, stay informed on legal regulations, and oversee the implementation of ISO standards, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in health and safety management.
