<div><h3>Emergency Preparedness, Resilience & Response (EPRR) Manager</h3><p>Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is a leading mental health and learning disability provider across Leeds and York.</p><p>The EPRR Manager will oversee day‑to‑day business continuity, develop and implement EPRR plans, and act as the subject‑matter expert within the Trust. The role reports to the Head of EPRR and supervises the EPRR Officer.</p><h3>Main duties</h3><ul><li>Develop EPRR plans and policies as directed by the Head of EPRR.</li><li>Create and update business continuity plans in partnership with service managers.</li><li>Advise clinical staff on mitigation of EPRR risks to patient care.</li><li>Ensure plans reflect specific service users and services covered, updating as required.</li><li>Implement agreed EPRR policies and plans across the organization.</li><li>Organise evaluation, approval and ratification of plans through appropriate governance processes.</li><li>Communicate, engage and involve all partners and regulators in EPRR work.</li><li>Act as the point of contact and subject‑matter expert on EPRR within the team.</li><li>Participate in health economy EPRR meetings as agreed with the Head of EPRR.</li><li>Disseminate information relating to EPRR, including national guidance and lessons learned from incidents.</li><li>Manage and distribute incident response rotas as directed by the Head of EPRR or Strategic Commanders.</li><li>Deputise for the Head of EPRR in all relevant EPRR activities within the Trust and at city and regional level.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications and experience</h3><ul><li>Recognised qualification in emergency planning or business continuity, or significant progress toward obtaining one.</li><li>At least four years’ experience in a senior emergency planning or comparable complex organisation.</li><li>Experience designing and running emergency exercises and training staff in EPRR and business continuity.</li><li>Sound understanding of NHS EPRR requirements.</li><li>Excellent communication and reporting skills.</li><li>Level 3 training qualification.</li></ul><h3>Values (examples for application)</h3><ul><li>Describe a time when you identified a small issue and took action to prevent it from escalating.</li><li>Describe a time when you recognised a colleague or client needed support and offered help.</li><li>Describe a time when you demonstrated kindness or understanding.</li></ul><h3>Disclosure and Barring Service Check</h3><p>This post requires a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.</p><h3>Additional information</h3><p>Applicants requiring a visa to work in the UK must meet the Trusts sponsorship requirements; sponsorship is only provided for registered healthcare practitioner roles and does not include healthcare support workers.</p><p>The closing date for applications is 26 June 2026.</p></div>
