Due to a combination of team expansion and maternity cover, I’m recruiting for this fantastic long-term contract with the possibility of permanent conversion.
Reporting to the Co Sec, you will be a key part of this busy and friendly team. As the team is relatively small, the opportunity offers fantastic breadth, exposure and the opportunity to get involved with a bit of everything! This variety is often hard to find within the Co Sec function of a listed business.
In addition to subsidiary management of c30 trading businesses, you will gain a high level of listed company experience, supporting the Company Secretary with:
* Contributing to the annual report process – drafting sections and working closely with other relevant functions across the group
* AGM and shareholder meeting organisation and management
* Drafting/issuing stock exchange announcements via RNS
* Managing compliance requirements including ECTA, MAR etc
* Operating the executive share and share save schemes
* Horizon scanning/research to ensure that the company is up to date with shareholder and regulatory requirements
* Transactions/Project work as required
To be considered for this opportunity you:
* MUST be available to start a contract no later than Jan 2
* MUST have listed company experience
* Will ideally be CGI qualified
* Should have sound working knowledge of the UK CA, CG code, FCA Listing Rules, Disclosure & Transparency Rules, Share Schemes and MAR
* Will have experience of Diligent, RNS etc
The role is based in the Greater West London area on a hybrid basis of 1-2 days/week. Whilst accessible by public transport (20 mins walk to tube) it may be easier to drive.
Salary is up to c£80,000 plus benefits
