Junior Buyer
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the procurement team in sourcing mechanical and electrical materials and services.
* Obtain and compare quotes from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
* Maintain accurate procurement records and update supplier databases.
* Coordinate with project managers and site teams to understand purchasing requirements.
* Support the negotiation process with suppliers under supervision.
* Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up on outstanding orders.
Requirements
* Some experience or interest in procurement, preferably within the mechanical and electrical (M&E) industry.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Basic knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions.
* Willingness to learn and develop procurement skills.
