Credit Controller Bradford £25k
Your new Company
Hays are working with an international, fast-growing automotive distributor in Bradford to recruit a Credit Controller due to internal promotion and growth.
Your new role
1. Contact business customers when payment is overdue & negotiate repayment plans if customers are in financial difficulties.
2. Set up and maintain customer files.
3. Initiate legal proceedings if debts are not paid within an agreed timeframe. Produce & send collection letters.
4. Assist in notifying new business acquisition customers of changes in ownership.
5. Perform bank reconciliations.
What you'll need
1. Good spoken and written communication skills.
2. Assertive but tactful manner.
3. Calmness under pressure & good negotiation skills.
4. The ability to work to strict deadlines & explain financial matters clearly and firmly.
5. Good mathematical skills.
