Residential Support Workers and Seniors required for Children's Home in Tettenhall Wolverhampton WV6
We are currently looking for dedicated, caring Support Workers to join our team in rural Tettenhall nr Wolverhampton
Children are typically aged between 11-18 and experience anxiety, mental health difficulties and occasional emotional distress. They are supported by nurturing staff who provide them with the love and security they need to grow, develop and recover from past experiences.
We are looking for caring children's residential support workers committed to providing our young people with a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment and being a consistent role model in their lives.
Salary for Residential Support Worker and Senior
Unqualified Support Worker £12.45 per hour Qualified Support Worker £13.10 per hour Senior £14.58 per hour
Sleep ins £50
Successful candidates for Residential Support Worker will:

Support and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of all aspects in the home including cooking, cleaning and finances.

Ensuring that the needs of the young people are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs.
What experience or qualifications would be required for Residential Support Worker and Senior
*
Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification is desirable; however training will be available.(essential for Senior)
*
Experience of supporting vulnerable young people within a residential care environment, or similar youth worker experience.
*
You will be compassionate, resilient, committed to being a positive role model and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
*
Flexible and able to work a residential care rota which includes evening, weekends and holiday periods and sleep ins.
*
Hold a valid UK driving licence.(essential)
