The Role
As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and optimising CNC programs based on engineering drawings and 3D models. You'll play a key role in enhancing machining efficiency and ensuring the production of high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create and refine CNC programs using Autodesk Powermill.
2. Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to generate accurate toolpaths.
3. Select suitable cutting tools, feeds, and speeds for various materials.
4. Produce detailed setup sheets for operators.
5. Conduct test runs and fine-tune programs for accuracy and cycle-time optimisation.
