We’re looking for compassionate and responsive individuals to join our Telecare Service team, providing vital support to customers in their own homes across the city. Position: Telecare Responder (Night Shifts) Contract: Initial 6-month contract (with potential for extension) Hours: 36 hours per week Shift Pattern: 4 nights on / 4 nights off Shift Times: 8:45 PM – 7:30 AM Location: City-wide coverage (company vehicle provided while on duty) About the Role As a valued member of our overnight Telecare team, you’ll respond to a variety of alerts and activations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals. This is a hands-on, community-focused role where no two nights are the same. Your responsibilities will include: Responding to alarm activations triggered by customers or assistive technology devices Providing practical support with mobility, personal care, and fall recovery Liaising with ambulance crews to assist during emergency situations Reacting to various assistive alerts, such as property exit sensors, smoke alarms, and pressure matsComprehensive training and induction will be provided to ensure you’re fully prepared and supported in your role.
