Job Description
The key responsibilities in this role:
3. Facilitate the Accounting closing process, ensuring smooth month / quarter / year-end procedures and drive continuous process improvements.
4. Reconcile performance reporting (full fair value view) to IFRS and local standards while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
5. Post unrealised derivatives and accruals for realised transactions.
6. Collaborate with the Accounting Data team to enhance transparency and consistency across data streams and support the development of automated processes.
7. Analyse accounting data to identify process or system-related issues, providing transparency to management.
8. Provide support for accounting-related projects.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will possess:
9. A full and recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ ACMA/ ACCA/CIMA) with 5+ years of relevant work experience
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with complex data
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.
12. In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
13. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
14. Pro-active attitude and team-oriented approach.
What's on Offer
This position can pay up to £65,000 (depending on experience), and has a very strong benefits package including performance related bonus and excellent pension. This requires 3 days on-site in Swindon and the client has free parking.
