Futures recruitment are looking to appoint a H&S Officer to take the lead on all safety-related matters across our construction and installation sites throughout the UK. This is a site-based role with a remote working setup and extensive nationwide travel required. In this position, you will be the primary point of contact for health, safety, and quality compliance on-site, ensuring that our standards are not only maintained but continually improved. You will support project teams with RAMS, lead incident investigations, and manage non-conformances in line with both safety and ISO 9001 quality frameworks. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct regular health and safety inspections across multiple active sites nationwide • Review and provide input on Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for ongoing and upcoming projects • Lead and document investigations into incidents, near misses, and breaches of safety protocols, including follow-up actions • Act as the on-site representative for all health, safety, and quality-related concerns • Foster a culture of safety through engagement with site teams and clients • Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and on-site coaching as required • Identify, document, and support the resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) related to quality standards • Maintain thorough records of inspections, investigations, NCRs, and related actions Essential Qualifications & Experience: • Practical experience supporting ISO 9001 quality systems onsite • Confident working independently and representing the company professionally on client sites • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate • CSCS Card • Full UK driving licence • Proven experience in construction or industrial installation environments • Comfortable with frequent travel and overnight stays across the UK • Strong working knowledge of RAMS, accident investigation, and safe systems of work Click apply now for more information
