Responsibilities
* Lead the Council’s work in delivering high‑quality development and timely infrastructure on major development sites.
* Develop, shape, and monitor masterplans for strategic sites, potentially including new settlements.
* Coordinate developer contributions to meet infrastructure requirements and oversee the Community Infrastructure Levy.
* Work closely with developers and infrastructure providers to shape strategic plans and ensure compliance with planning policy.
* Monitor and manage development proposals, focusing on a specific geographic area but able to support district‑wide sites.
Qualifications
* Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, with a successful track record in master planning and delivery of major development sites.
* Strong collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Deep understanding of development viability and the planning system.
* Experience working with key stakeholders throughout the development process.
