CNC Offline Programmer - CAD/CAM - HyperMill
As a CNC Offline Programmer, you'll be at the heart of this large successful precision engineering company's production process, translating design concepts into reality. Your responsibilities will include:
1. CNC Programming: Develop precise 3 and 5 axis CNC programs using Hypermill software.
2. Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive supporting documentation from 2D drawings and 3D models.
3. Complex Part Programming: Tackle intricate high-precision components for CNC mills and lathes.
4. Post Processor Resolution: Address any post-processing issues to ensure flawless execution.
5. Shop Floor Collaboration: Work closely with our shop floor team to prove and optimise programs.
6. Manufacturing Methods: Plan efficient manufacturing methods, including jig and fixture design.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce scrap.
8. Estimating Support: Leverage your expertise to assist with cutting time estimates.
9. Technical Assistance: Provide shop floor support as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
We're seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
1. Experience: Proven experience in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software (Hypermill).
2. Precision Engineering: Familiarity with complex part programming for CNC mills and lathes.
