Class 1 HGV Driver - Worksop - £18.04-£18.38ph - Ongoing Work
The Best Connection Chesterfield are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for a leading logistics client based in Worksop.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work, excellent pay rates, and straightforward trunking duties with no to minimal handball.
Job Details:
* Role: Class 1 HGV Driver (C+E)
* Location: Worksop/Blyth
* Pay: £18.04 - £18.38 per hour
* Shifts: Days - start times from 04:00 onwards
* Pattern: 5 days per week (5 out of 6 during peak, Monday-Saturday)
* Work Type: Depot-to-depot trunking (minimal/no handball)
Key Responsibilities:
* Trunking goods between distribution centres
* Completing daily vehicle checks
* Following planned routes and schedules
* Ensuring full compliance with UK driving laws and tachograph regulations
* Communicating with the transport team regarding delays or issues
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Good communication and timekeeping skills
* Reliable and professional approach
