John Olivers Hairdressing Group is a collection of independently based hairdressing salons in Norfolk and Suffolk. Our aim is to offer creative and inspirational hairdressing of a high standard through education and best business practice.
We are seeking a part-time receptionist for our Red Lion Street hair salon.
We are looking for someone with good communication and interpersonal skills as you will be providing the first point of contact for customers both face to face and via the telephone.
Presenting a professional appearance and a positive, cordial attitude, you will be able to remain calm in a what can, at times, be a busy environment. you will be expected to provide a high level of customer care and be able to offer advise to clients about hair products that we retail.
You will be required to take cash and card payments, cash up at the end of the evening and fill out cashing up sheets. Basic computer skills are required, including using email, booking appointments, stock control and generating reports. Full training will be given.
The salon is open Monday - Saturday
Working days/hours to be discussed but will include Saturdays.
You may be required to cover holiday and sickness.
