Accounts / Bookkeeper – Thirsk, UK | Full-time (35 hours per week)
A well-established accountancy practice in Thirsk is looking for an experienced Accounts / Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to work in a traditional accounting practice and handle both bookkeeping and accounts preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for clients.
2. Produce accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
3. Assist with corporation tax and limited company compliance where applicable.
4. Manage bookkeeping systems using Sage and Xero.
5. Liaise with clients and provide updates on financial records.
Skills & Experience:
6. Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounts preparation.
7. Proficiency in Sage and Xero.
8. Experience with limited company accounts and corporation tax is an advantage.
9. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
10. Ability to work independently and manage a client portfolio.
