Our client is a UK based special situations and distressed credit fund with 10bn aum. They are looking to hire a lawyer with some fund finance experience (emphasis on some - as banking and finance lawyers generally could do the role) reporting directly into the GC. The right person will have strong commercial acumen and a desire to understand commercial issues and challenge stakeholders and external council on their thinking. A proactive and creative lawyer that is engaged by intellectual rigour of legal and commercial issues.
This is a very broad role where you will need to turn your hand to many areas of transactional work. It is a real business and requires a versatile and proactive mind.
