We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior Associate Educator to support and develop our Health and Therapy Assistants within the Urgent Community Response and Home First Teams at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust.
As a Senior Associate Educator, you’ll use your clinical knowledge and a recognised Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care to help shape and support the next generation of healthcare support workers within the Urgent Community Response and Home First Services. Working at a higher level of competence, you’ll contribute to high-quality patient care and play a key role in workforce development through mentoring, education, and clinical supervision.
Post based in Lancing; however, support across West Sussex will require travel between sites.

As a mentor and role model, you will support new starters undertaking the Care Certificate, contribute to the HCA training programme, and collaborate with Practice Development Nurses and clinical assessors to sign off competencies. Your leadership and support will help maintain high standards of care and empower staff to develop within their roles.
