I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Crewe, who are seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team
Job Description
As Quality Inspector, your main responsibilities are:
* Inspect & approve products for fit, finish and basic functionality (including driving of the product)
* Incoming parts checked and signed off to standards
* Quality & basic functionality receiving inspection of parts
* Quality & Specification checking of parts fitted
* Over checking of repairs to confirm product meet specification & quality requirements
Qualifications / Skills needed
* Demonstrable ability to influence the need for customer quality focus
* Demonstrate a proven track record within a Production / Manufacturing environment
* Good knowledge of product trim & assembly processes
* Able to interpret and consistently apply Product Audit guidelines to rate defect severity
* Hold clean, current vehicle driving licence
