Design Technology & Construction Technician - St Gregory's Catholic High School
The Role
St Gregory’s Catholic High School is looking to appoint an self-motivated and creative Design Technology / Construction technician to provide day to day support in the delivery of the curriculum by our outstanding Design and Technology team.
This is a busy and varied role which includes preparation of resources and equipment for technology related lessons, active support of teaching and learning in the classroom, the provision of administrative support and a strong focus on the mitigation of health and safety risks in the department.
This role would suit someone with the appropriate skills and experience in the provision of design and technology who is willing to undergo training if required, in order to fulfil all aspects of the role and duties. Relevant experience does not necessarily have to be school based.
Your role really matters to the quality of Teaching and Learning in Design technology and helps open the door to wide engagement of the Technology curriculum.
There will be opportunities on some occasions to support other subject areas if you have those interests too.

Key Information
Salary:Grade 5. Starting salary between: £21,784 - £23,990 (actual salary) however, the salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Contract Type:Permanent, Full Time, Term-Time only (additional weeks beyond term time are negotiable with successful applicant if preferred)
