HR Advisor (Temporary Contract – Winsford)
£17.85 per hourFull-time | Immediate Start | On-site in Winsford
We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to support a busy HR team on a temporary basis. This role provides hands-on support to managers across a full range of HR activities, including employee relations, policy development, organisational change and people data insights.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional HR advice to managers on absence, performance, recruitment, promotion and workforce planning.
* Support HR casework—including sickness management, grievances, disciplinaries and capability—ensuring fair and consistent handling.
* Coach and upskill managers in applying people policies and best practice.
* Contribute to ongoing development and review of HR policies, procedures and frameworks.
* Assist with organisational change initiatives, team reviews and restructures, ensuring clear communication and smooth implementation.
* Analyse people data to identify trends and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
* Work collaboratively with internal departments such as Occupational Health, Finance and Legal, as well as external partners, to support effective HR delivery.
* Support the delivery of training sessions for managers alongside L&D colleagues.
* Take on additional HR project work as required by senior HR leadership.
What We’re Looking For
* Solid experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
* Strong background in managing employee relations from start to finish.
* Confident in coaching managers and providing practical, solutions-focused advice.
* Excellent knowledge of HR policies and ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
* Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
