MPI have a requirement for an Electrical Maintenance Operative to work in a permanent role on site in Swindon, SN6 8LA. This is a full time permanent role working 37 hours per week. Our Client have an exciting new role as a Electrical Operative. You’ll be undertaking preventative and reactive emergency and routine maintenance repairs to a variety of building services, on MOD buildings, providing a customer focused and cost-effective service. Key Accountabilities: Carry out electrical pre planned maintenance and reactive activities across a multi building site as required. Carry out repairs to a variety of building services and demonstrate their competence to multi-skill outside their core trade. Be involved with refurbishment, planned and reactive maintenance. Work with minimal supervision and can make decisions on the most appropriate repair solution. To undertake a continual programme of risk assessment in relation to your role. Provide exceptional service to our high-profile client and go the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standard in delivering services in all building areas. What you’ll need to do the role: Trade Background & Qualifications (recognised qualification or apprenticeship) Full UK driving licence Due to the nature of the organisation, all employees are required to be security cleared to SC level. If successful in your application, we would support you with the SC process. As a guideline only, you would normally need to have been a UK resident for the last 5 consecutive years.
