Job summary
Our client, operating in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Neighbourhoods Major Schemes Programme Manager to join their team on a contract basis.

This opportunity involves working within Transport and Connectivity's robust Capital Programme, which facilitates urban growth and attracts external investment by enhancing the city's transport networks and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the preparation of two major scheme bids to the Strategic Outline Case (SOC) stage
* Compiling Options Appraisal Reports (OAR) as part of the bid preparation
* Utilising the West Midlands Combined Authority Single Assurance Framework for project development
* Collaborating with the Transport Planning Manager - Neighbourhoods to align objectives
* Managing and coordinating various elements of the Neighbourhood Major Schemes programme
* Ensuring projects meet strategic goals and deliver value to the city's transportation infrastructure
Job Requirements:
* Experience in highway projects and programme management
* Understanding of transport planning principles and methodologies
* Familiarity with the West Midlands Combined Authority Single Assurance Framework
* Strong project management and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
* Ability to produce detailed reports and project documentation
