Delivery Manager (SFIA 5) – Policy & Digital Transformation | Remote (Occasional Travel to London, Milton Keynes or East Kilbride)
Futureheads have partnered with a government client to find an experienced Delivery Manager to support a high-priority programme exploring how policy is developed, tracked and delivered at one of the UK's leading government departments.
This is a genuinely interesting engagement sitting at the intersection of policy and digital delivery. Senior leaders have identified the need for greater coherence in how policy is developed and more effective tracking of its delivery and impact. You'll be helping to shape that understanding and drive meaningful change.
The day rate is up to £595pd and candidates must hold active SC clearance.
What you'll be doing:
* Exploring how policy is currently developed within the organisation — identifying pressure points and opportunities for improvement
* Supporting research into how policy delivery is tracked and how impact is captured
* Mapping the digital products and tools currently used across different stages of the policy process
* Contributing to a joined-up approach between policy development and digital delivery
* Researching best and next practice across UK government and internationally — including AI-enabled policy tools
About you:
* Proven experience in government digital delivery at SFIA Level 5
* Experience working in or alongside policy teams within a government context is strongly preferred
* Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment with occasional travel to client sites
* SC cleared (essential — must be active and valid)
