We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Scheme Manager in Ormskirk, contracted at 35 hours per week, with temp to perm opportunities available for the successful candidate.
You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused and proactive housing management, facilities management and support services within your scheme. You will provide effective people management of the on-site team, ensuring service delivery standards are maintained and appropriate levels of staffing are available at all times.
Your new role
1. Deliver allocations and lettings in line with procedures to meet void targets and maximise ie
2. Deliver key tenancy and housing management tasks including tenancy enforcement and low level anti-social behaviour interventions
3. Ensure the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of customers is effectively managed, maintaining regular contact with customers and ensuring all required actions are implemented
4. Ensuring the schemeplies with health and safety legislation and good practice, recording and managing all incidents and working collaboratively with other teams to identify any housing management or customer wellbeing concerns
5. Working with asset management teams to deliver an efficient service to customers and ensure repairs are monitored through to conclusion
6. General administrative duties such as PO's and invoicing
7. Arrange, promote and lead at customer meetings, maintaining a positive climate for resident engagement
8. Listening and responding to informalplaints within timescales
What you'll need to succeed
9. Experience of delivering of managing older people's housing and/or services
10. Good knowledge of housing management legislation and housing/tenancy management principles
11. Understanding of allocations/lettings processes within housing
12. Ability to work alone and organise workload accordingly, and work collaboratively within a team
