We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging scholar with experience teaching modern British (19th–20th century) history at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The successful candidate will teach core and optional modules, supervise dissertations, and maintain an active research profile in modern British history, particularly in environmental history and public heritage.
Responsibilities
* Deliver world‑class teaching in modern British history, with a focus on environmental history
* Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations in modern British history and public/heritage history
* Maintain an active research profile and produce high‑quality research outputs in the field of 19th–20th century British history
Qualifications
* Ph.D. (or equivalent) in history or a relevant discipline
* An emerging record of international research excellence appropriate to career stage; experience producing high‑quality research outputs in modern British history
* Experience supervising undergraduate dissertations in modern British history
* Covering letter must not exceed two A4 pages
