Reporting to the Site Manufacturing Engineering Initiatives Leader, you’ll be at the forefront of advancing GE Aerospace Defence & Systems’ 5-Year Hoshin Kanri (HK) strategy while helping transform the Manufacturing Engineering team through the growing capabilities of the Manufacturing Engineering Initiatives organisation.

This role is part of the Productivity segment of the team, giving you the opportunity to challenge existing processes and deliver meaningful, operator-focused improvements that drive long-term change.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading productivity initiatives that align with GE Aerospace’s proprietary FLIGHT DECK operating model (don’t worry—we’ll provide comprehensive training to set you up for success).

Collaborating with operators and teams to identify opportunities for Labour Productivity improvements and implementing solutions that make a lasting impact.

Working across three key product families to deliver operator-centric changes that enhance efficiency and sustain improvements over time.

Using your technical problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on and drive impactful change.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, including leadership and negotiation, to work effectively with operators and teams.

A passion for delivering meaningful, operator-focused improvements that make a difference.

This is your chance to be part of a team that’s transforming the way we work, challenging the status quo, and delivering real results. If you’re ready to take on this exciting challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

GE Aerospace is a global leader in jet engines, components, and integrated systems for commercial, military, business, and general aviation.

Our Cheltenham facility specialises in advanced aircraft power distribution and avionics systems. It supports design, development, manufacturing, and aftermarket services for leading aerospace manufacturers in civilian and military sectors.
