We have an exciting opportunity for a Groundcare Mechanic to join our team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Workshop Manager within the Greenkeeping Department, you will play a key role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range of groundcare machinery, vehicles, and specialist turf equipment across our eight golf courses.
Working closely with our four greenkeeping teams, you will help ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently and to the highest standard-minimising downtime and enabling our teams to deliver outstanding playing surfaces every day.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of machinery, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and golf buggies
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults quickly and accurately
* Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
* Prepare machinery for daily operations, seasonal requirements, and major events
* Sharpen cutting units and maintain precision turf equipment
