Summary
A MS System Architect – Systems is responsible for the creation of technical multi-component solution designs. Service Delivery Architects partner with Manage Services, Professional Services, Sales, and Customers to identify and implement solutions that enable technical innovation and profitability. The Service Delivery Architect will lead through influence often engaging a project team or presales initiative helping to ensure technical and strategic success. Primary expertise is in the evaluation and creation of multiple solution design options meeting complex project requirements and constraints while ensuring standards are maintained with an emphasis on stability and growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Authors Service Delivery Architecture documents that define the agreed solution, including service definitions, scope, interface design, impacted components, risks, and necessary trade-offs.
2. Provides expert knowledge of interface architectures, serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to business, operations, and technology teams.
3. Reviews, comments, and approves deliverables created as part of the project delivery methodology.
4. Provides technical leadership to stakeholders to design the overall solution and resolve ongoing technical issues within the initiative.
5. Provides ongoing support and guidance to development teams with recommended training during the analysis, development, and testing processes.
6. Presents technical issues to technical governance boards and leadership for decision-making and communicates decisions to impacted teams.
7. Reviews designs for their ability to achieve business benefits within estimated cost restraints.
8. Negotiates scope and costs with vendor partners as applicable for their initiatives, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
9. Collaborates with stakeholders to review and contribute to Managed Services Technology Roadmaps.
10. Creates and communicates suggested technical solutions, Managed Services impacts, and costs for customer, regional, and global initiatives.
11. Identifies organizational and financial impacts of solutions, working with leadership on necessary adjustments.
12. Engages in customer activities such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), high-level escalations, and Design for Proactive recommendations and delegation.
13. Collaborates with vendor partners to integrate partner development activities within project timelines.
14. Mentors technical resources interested in growth or required for business initiatives.
Business Partnership
15. Establishes strong working relationships with Global, Managed Services, Professional Services, Sales, and Customers.
16. Establishes strong working relationships with the Center of Excellence (COE) to ensure alignment with best practices and standards.
17. Participates in and supports cross-technology and cross-functional process improvement initiatives, contributing to organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
18. Participates in Global Architecture/Engineering working groups, ensuring alignment of Managed Services with technology directions and organizational objectives.
19. Attends and/or provides recommendations for customer Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
20. Addresses highest level escalations and customer care issues effectively.
21. Engages in sales and solution assurance activities as needed.
22. Presents technical issues to governance boards or leadership for decision-making.
23. Seeks out continuous improvement opportunities within the scope of responsibilities.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
24. Writes Knowledge Base (KB) articles as needed to document technical processes and procedures.
25. Ensures documentation standards are met and maintained for all relevant processes and procedures.
26. Provides training and uplifts recommendations based on projected business and customer needs.
27. Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values.
28. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.
29. Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.

Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/Certifications
Equivalent combination accepted.
Education
30. Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Experience / Technical Requirements
31. 10+ years' experience implementing Information Technology in an enterprise of similar technical breadth and scale. Ideally across multiple functional roles including Architect, Design, Code, Test, Deploy, and Operate
32. 3 + years of experience in hybrid or converged infrastructure environments, including Azure.
33. 1-3 Year performance Service Delivery Architecture for a Managed Services Provider (MSP).
34. Understanding of software development lifecycle practices
35. Knowledge of Interface patterns, and typical system integration techniques
36. Knowledge of project management methodologies
37. Knowledge of architecture methodologies, standards and tools
38. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
39. Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of initiatives and prioritize effectively
40. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and integration patterns
41. Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution
42. Technical knowledge of the following:
Deep expertise in converged infrastructure, including:
Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
PowerShell scripting and automation
Azure Virtual Machines, Azure AD, Azure networking, Azure Monitor
Office administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams)
Patch management tools (SCCM, WSUS)
Storage technologies (SAN, NAS) and storage management tools
Virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix)
Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, and compliance.
Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and automation tools.
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications, specifically Visio.
Certifications
43. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
44. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
45. Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
46. Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
