Our client, a well-regarded and expanding legal practice, is currently seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join their Manchester-based team.
You will manage a full caseload of housing disrepair claims, providing expert legal advice and representation throughout the lifecycle of each case. The position requires a proactive and client-focused approach, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing housing disrepair files from instruction through to settlement or conclusion
* Gathering, reviewing, and analysing evidence to support claims
* Drafting legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence
* Conducting negotiations and settlement discussions
* Maintaining regular communication with clients and key stakeholders
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure compliance and timely case resolution
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housing disrepair litigation and a commitment to delivering high-quality client care.
Essential requirements:
* Proven experience handling housing disrepair matters
* Strong case management, evidential analysis, and drafting skills
* Confident negotiator with experience in achieving settlements
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Experience using case management systems and legal research tools
* Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate
