The Role
The agency is seeking an experienced and commercially minded
Account Director
with a strong background in live events. This individual will lead a team of five, manage and grow client relationships, and play a key role in securing new business through confident and creative pitches. The role requires someone with entrepreneurial spirit who can hit the ground running and thrive in a fast-paced environment. International travel will be required as part of delivering major live events.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and inspire a team of five direct reports.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring delivery of outstanding service.
* Oversee planning, management, and execution of large-scale live events.
* Take a lead role in pitches and presentations, bringing creativity, insight, and confidence.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the U.S. to ensure alignment and successful international delivery.
* Drive innovation and growth within accounts and across the agency.
* Contribute to the wider business strategy in partnership with senior leadership.
We are looking for..
* Proven experience as an Account Director (or Senior Account Manager ready to step up) within the live events industry.
* Strong track record in delivering complex, high-profile live events.
* Confident and engaging when pitching to new and existing clients.
* Experienced in managing and developing high-performing teams.
* Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to take initiative and deliver results quickly.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
