We are looking for
A Customer Service Operator to join our branch in Southampton! You will build, manage and maintain relationships with customers as directed by the customer service manager and manage the day-to-day operations of the customers in your portfolio ensuring agreed service levels and financial targets are met.
What you will be doing as Customer Service Operator?
1. Be the first point of contact for all matters related to your assigned portfolio of customers.
2. Be responsible to communicate providing updates for customers through either phone or email facet.
3. Manage the customer service cycle from start to finish ensuring that key information required to prepare quotes and process consignments are compliant with HMRC customs.
4. Provide a variety of quotes to your customer to best service their requirements in an ever-changing scenario.
5. Be responsible to ensure that make sure the commodity codes and invoices are correct and processed for dispatched.
6. Be proactive in approaching and engaging with existing customers to generate income
7. Respond in a timely manner to problem or concerns from customers within the required turnaround time.
Our Ideal Customer Service Operator
8. Strong, confident personality with an internal sales background and/or customer service background.
9. Time management skills are essential as are communication (face-to-face and over the phone) skills.
10. A good head for numbers is required.
11. At least 2 years Commercial Office experience & ideally some exposure to a logistics industry role (not essential)
12. Excellent communicator and dedication to excellent customer service
13. A desire to improve the Gross profit margins.
