We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to help recruit, engage, and support volunteers who represent Holding On Letting Go at exhibitions, community events, and speaking engagements.

What are we looking for?
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in volunteer management, recruitment, or event coordination. A genuine passion for HOLG's work supporting bereaved children and their families. Well-organised, proactive, and able to work independently. Confident speaking to individuals or groups about the charity's work. Access to a computer and the internet, with basic IT skills.
What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities Recruit, onboard, and support non-clinical volunteers for events and speaking opportunities. Work closely with the charity's fundraising team to identify upcoming events and volunteer needs. Organise and support HOLG-led community fundraising events. Keep in regular contact with volunteers to ensure they feel informed, valued, and prepared. Promote volunteering opportunities through social media, local networks, and community engagement. Develop resources and light training materials to help volunteers confidently represent the charity. Match volunteers with roles that suit their interests, skills, and availability. Monitor volunteer engagement and provide feedback and recognition.
