Job Description:
We're looking for an accomplished Brand Expression and Governance Advisor to join our dedicated team. Your global brand management and marketing experience will be critical to success, though this role also has a distinct focus on brand protection too.
Based in the University's Communications office, key areas of responsibility range from brand management services, compliance, governance and protection.
As a guardian of the institutional brand, you'll be the advocate of the holistic view. You'll work to join the dots strategically to drive connection and collaboration across the organisation so we maximise reach and minimise risk.
You'll have the ability to work with autonomy and as part of a team on multiple projects, with the energy and interest to pursue a broad array of tasks. You'll be able to communicate effectively on brand matters which require legal interpretation.
Tasks are many and varied, so you'll be capable of handling the details as well as the big picture. For instance, you might be producing a brand photoshoot to bolster our image library one day. Then the next, drafting new policy principles, so our key internal audiences have clearer guidance on expectations around usage of the brand.
High standards of accuracy and literacy are essential for this role. Your organisational excellence means you are able to improve upon systems to gain efficiency. Working to very precise deadlines is a must. You'll also thrive in change, responding with agility to changes in prioritisation.
We're looking for a candidate who has experience working in a large, complex organisations. And ideally, international experience working for big name brands and/or in higher education.
This role is in central Cambridge and we practise a hybrid working model.
We welcome applications from individuals who wish to be considered for part-time working or other flexible working arrangements.
The University actively supports equality, diversity and inclusion and encourages applications from all sections of society.
The University has a responsibility to ensure that all employees are eligible to live and work in the UK.
