Our client, a well-regarded further education college based in Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Lecturer in Supported Learning to join their inclusive Learning Support department from September 2025.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with learners who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting their academic progress, independence, and personal development in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
* Have experience teaching or supporting learners with SEND in a further education or similar setting
* Be knowledgeable about EHCPs, inclusive pedagogy, and adaptive teaching strategies
* Demonstrate strong communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills
* Be passionate about supporting learners to achieve their personal and educational goals
* Work well as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote holistic learner success
