🌟 Interim Reablement Service Manager – 6 Month Contract 🌟
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 (Pro Rata)

We’re looking for an experienced Interim Reablement Service Manager to lead an Occupational Therapist–led reablement service focused on helping people regain independence, reduce hospital admissions and avoid long-term care.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll oversee service delivery, drive improvement, and ensure outstanding, person-centred care.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary reablement team
* Act as CQC Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance
* Manage day-to-day service operations and performance targets
* Drive innovation, culture change and continuous service improvement
* Oversee staff recruitment, deployment, supervision and wellbeing
* Work closely with NHS teams, local authority partners and community services
* Travel between sites and participate in out-of-hours on-call when required
Essential Requirements
* Previous Registered Manager experience in social care
* Level 5 Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
* Proven background in community-based, reablement, domiciliary, or intermediate care services
* Strong leadership, performance management & culture-change skills
* Analytical mindset, comfortable with data and IT systems
* Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement ability
Desirable
* Occupational Therapist qualification
* Postgraduate Health/Social Care/Leadership qualification
* Experience with service transformation or turnaround
* Knowledge of integrated care pathways, commissioning & CQC frameworks
