We welcome applications from dental nurses seeking a new challenge in a community-focused dental nursing role. Our community dental service has clinics across South East and South West London, providing high-level dental care both inside and outside of clinics, including schools, homeless centres, hospitals, patients' homes, and care homes. You will be based in a single clinic within a larger community team, serving across 9 London boroughs, including Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham.
A recognised dental nurse qualification and registration with the General Dental Council are essential.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will need to be able to:
* Perform chairside dental nursing duties to a high standard
* Assist in medical emergencies
* Help patients with special needs, including vulnerable children, the elderly, those with mental or physical disabilities, terminal illnesses, infectious risks, or mental health issues
* Prepare for and participate in domiciliary care for elderly and homebound patients, as well as school visits
* Perform decontamination and sterilisation of instruments, testing equipment regularly
