Job Description We’re excited to be looking for a Mergers & Acquisitions Manager in this brand new role, across all aspects of deal process. In particular, project managing deal execution, initially of deals sub £1m, from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include: Project manage and lead the execution of live deals from signing of Heads of Terms to completion of legal documentation, including due diligence, negotiation and integration planning Co-ordinate and manage cross-functional due diligence teams e.g. premises, HR, finance, tax, IT, insurance, lettings etc Liaise with M&A Finance analyst on development of financial models Engage with M&A Integration Manager to assist in post-acquisition planning and execution Support Head of M&A with aspects of larger transactions, including managing risk Liaison with external lawyers, review, negotiate and agree of all legal documentation – deal sheets, HOTs, SPA, APA and other deal documentation Review of legal documentation to document and implement post acquisition commitments Prepare and present investment memos and reports to senior leadership team/board Liaison with Sellers to support through the process Support renegotiation of purchase price, where appropriate to mitigate risk during the process Deliver projects to agreed timescale The ideal candidate will have: Accounting qualification – ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA 3-5 years relevant experience in corporate finance, private equity, banking or consulting Demonstrate execution of M&A transactions Strong analytical and financial modelling skills Due diligence experience Familiarity with legal aspects of M&A – SPA, APA, compliance You should possess: Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills Attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple deals and priorities in fast-paced environment Accountability, takes responsibility and ownership Personal drive and determination Connells Group UK is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, transgender status, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.Don’t meet every single requirement?
