Location: Crawley & Surrounding Areas Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time – Flexible Days Salary: Paid to scale – M1 to UPS3 or £130–£150 per day Hours: School hours (typically 08:30–15:30)

This role is ideal for Humanities teachers who enjoy variety and want the flexibility to choose when and where they work. As a supply Humanities teacher, you’ll bring your enthusiasm for subjects such as History, Geography, RE or Social Sciences into different classrooms, helping students develop curiosity, critical thinking and a broader understanding of the world.
We’re looking for adaptable, knowledgeable and confident Humanities Supply Teachers to work across secondary schools in Crawley and the surrounding areas. Each placement offers a fresh environment, new learners and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Teaching Humanities subjects across KS3 and KS4
* Delivering engaging lessons in areas such as History, Geography, RE or related subjects
* Supporting students’ understanding, progress and enthusiasm for the Humanities
* Managing the classroom effectively and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
* Adapting quickly to different schools, routines and class groups
What We’re Looking For
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Humanities in secondary schools
* Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
* Someone reliable, flexible and comfortable in new settings
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
