My client is currently looking to recruit an outstanding Semi Senior Accountant who is willing to work proactively to help their clients succeed. This is on behalf of a well-established Top 75 firm.
The ideal candidate for this role would have experience working as a semi senior accountant, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. They should be self-motivated and confident in their role.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and responsibilities:
* Maintaining and developing relationships with a wide-ranging client base
* Preparation of limited company accounts and corporation tax computations
* Preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships
* Preparation of personal tax returns
* Preparation and review of VAT returns and dealing with VAT queries
* Preparation of management accounts
* Dealing with general business enquiries from clients
Key Skills/Requirements:
* At least 6 years’ experience working in an accountancy practice
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and a professional approach to clients are essential.
* IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Previous experience with Iris, QuickBooks, and Sage software is a strong advantage
