At Aspris, we believe that all young people deserve the best chance to grow, develop, and receive support that prepares them for a bright future. Our Residential Support Workers are crucial in helping us achieve this vision.
What The Role Looks Like
As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll provide emotional support to our young people and assist with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and getting to school. If you work during the weekend, your time on-site may be limited, as activities are often held at external venues like theme parks, bowling alleys, cinemas, and zoos. Expect to have fun and enjoy memorable experiences while working.
Our homes accommodate young people with autism, learning difficulties, social, emotional, and mental health needs. While challenges may arise, our Residential Support Workers build strong relationships and create lasting memories that help young people overcome difficulties and make progress. There is great reward in seeing young people succeed.
Located in the vibrant city of Southampton, our children’s home is a 5-bed facility supporting children and young people with Learning Disabilities, Attachment Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, and other autistic spectrum disorders, as well as those facing mental health issues or troubled family relationships.
